And so, conference season begins. And I’m kicking it off with a bang!
I’m headed to Sage Summit next week and will be a panelist on the session:
The Soul of Enterprise Live: Accounting Innovation – It’s not an oxymoron –
A panel discussion on the premise that accounting and innovation are not opposites (i.e. not an oxymoron). While the job description for accounting professionals has largely stayed the same, technologies and laws have come into play to change the way business is done. It is time that accountants alter the way they do business to keep up with the shifting tide. This panel will be moderated by Ed Kless and Ron Baker featuring thought leaders across the accounting and bookkeeping professions.
I love the title because it’s so true! New Firms have innovation in their DNA. I’ll be teasing out some fresh content that will soon be appearing in my new book. Think topics like:
– Why/How CPAs need to think like product managers
– How technology builds capacity to allow for innovation to be part of your firm’s DNA.
If you are in the Atlanta area there is still time to register. You can do that here. In fact, I have ONE colleague or client I can register for FREE! Want it? First come, first served!
In other news …
Are you ready for some new Radical content? I am! I’ve been busy this tax season working on my new book and I can’t wait to get some feedback.
Are you dying to read it?
Would you like a sneak peek?
If you want to be one of the first readers, let me know. I am looking for some peer feedback and would love for my Radicals to be a part of it. Also, we are including case studies of firms of all sizes who are doing Radical things. If you have implemented any of the tenets or Radical approaches and it’s helped you come out ahead, I want to hear from you.
Hope to see you on the road soon!
