I spent last week on a five-day book retreat in Orlando putting together an outline for my next book, a follow-up to The Radical CPA.
Tentatively to be release in July or so.
My biggest takeaway was that they encouraged me to think big about what to do with The Radical CPA. To step beyond what I’m am doing today and truly create more opportunities to Radicalize more CPAs.
And you know what? That’s scary.
I’m nervous. It’s unknown. It’s going to take a lot of work. I know that. And I’m not exactly sure how it’s all going to turn out. But you know what? I’m going to do it. I need to do it because it’s the right thing to do.
I’m going to challenge you now: I want you to think big about your firms. I want you to walk into the fear of changing up or radicalizing your firm. I want you to acknowledge the amount of work that needs to be done and just admit that it’s scary and unknown. But I want you to get started because it’s the right thing to do.
So, what is the first step?
Honestly, observe your firm this tax season and make a list of all the things that you will need to address after tax season.
That’s it. Commit to the list and we’ll go from there.
